The firm also renders service in criminal law and all matters relating thereto, including the appearance and defence of clients in the Magistrates Court, Regional Court and High Court of Namibia.

Notably, two Senior Directors were involved in the defence of sixteen accused in the High Treason Trial and in the high profile request for the extradition of Mr Koch. A Director of Dr Weder, Kauta & Hoveka Inc serves as the Convenor of the Standing Committee on Criminal Law matters for the Law Society of Namibia.
